1. What This Service Is

TennisMate is a platform that helps recreational tennis players find playing partners, organize matches, join communities, and participate in leagues and tournaments. We provide the tools; you bring the tennis.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use TennisMate. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person, please.

The information in your profile should be accurate and honest, especially your skill level. Misrepresenting your ability hurts the experience for other players.

3. Acceptable Use

Use TennisMate to connect with other players and enjoy tennis. Do not use the platform to:

  • Harass, bully, or threaten other players
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Spam other users with unsolicited messages
  • Manipulate match results or standings
  • Use automated tools to scrape data or create accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules, after giving you a chance to explain if the situation is ambiguous.

4. Community Management

Communities are managed by community administrators. They set their own rules for leagues, tournaments, and membership. TennisMate provides the platform but does not control individual community policies.

If you have a dispute with a community administrator, try to resolve it directly. If that fails, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

5. Your Content

You own the content you add to TennisMate (profile information, messages, etc.). By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to display and process this content as needed to provide the service.

We will never use your content for advertising purposes or sell it to third parties. If you delete your account, your personal content is removed.

6. The Service

TennisMate is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or that the service will always be error-free.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features over time. If we plan to shut down the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and the ability to export your data.

7. Liability

TennisMate is a platform for connecting players. We are not responsible for interactions between users, injuries during tennis matches, or disputes about match results.

Play safely, respect your opponents, and use good judgment on and off the court.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of TennisMate after changes means you accept the updated terms.
